Tonita, i sure am sorry to hear about Danny. I really hate to have missed the Celebration of Life service, but I didn't know he had passed until Saturday night. Ona and Tom Glen put a notice on facebook about Danny's death. That was how I found out about it. Danny and I carpooled for several years. I thought a lot about him and you. I know he will be missed by a lot of people. Evelyn and I will keep you and the rest of the in our prayers.

Many years ago I was befriended by Danny and Tonita when I first moved to South Carolina. They were the most loving and kind friends and we shared many a laugh. Danny literally took me under his wing and did the prodigious task of rewiring my old house. He was the most gentle and kind man I've ever known. My heart goes out to Tonita and the family at their loss and I send my sincere condolences to them. Time may have taken us down different paths and distances, but I will always cherish the privilege of knowing Danny Thompson. RIP, good man.
