William Preston White, 58, of Easley, SC passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home.
Preston was born in Toccoa, GA on February 13, 1962 to the late William Lloyd White and the late Ruby Nell Owens.
Preston served in the Army National Guard and loved to repurpose other people’s discarded items and make them into treasures once again. He enjoyed listening to music and was an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Terry James White and nephew Barry Dale King.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela White of Easley, SC; son, Travis “Morgan” White of Iva, SC; two daughters, Jessica “Chase” McIlwain of Abbeville, SC; Amanda White Poteat of Berea, SC; step son, Dustin Nichols, of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Millie, Juniper, And Charlie; two sisters, Doris “Ron” Dehn, of Piedmont, SC; Sandra “Ignacio” Ramirez of Pendleton, SC; and nieces and nephews.
The family will be at the home of his niece, Jennifer Hernandez, in Easley, SC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, beginning at 12:30 pm at his niece’s home located at 322 Adger Rd Easley, SC 29642. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 12:00 pm.
