Obituary for Tommy Burdette
Tommy Wayne Burdette, 63, husband of Angie Seigler Burdette, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of Carolyn Chatham Burdette and the late John Thomas Burdette. Tommy had a career with Electrolux in Anderson as a maintenance technician for 33 years. He enjoyed being around his family, working with his colleagues, and riding his motorcycle around town. Tommy was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife and mother, Tommy was survived by his children, Thomas Matthew Burdette of Anderson, Carolyn Alexis Bianco (Anthony) of Anderson and Johnathan Tanner Burdette of Anderson. He was also survived by his siblings, Betty Ann Milford, James Burdette (Ginger), Daniel Burdette (Andrea), and his six grandchildren, Laiken Bianco, Emerson Burdette, Bodhi Bianco, Olivia Burdette, Amelia Bianco, and Blaine King.
Along with his father, Tommy was predeceased by two siblings, Angela Cathey and John T. Burdette.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2022, inside the Tribute Room at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center with Rev. Billy Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will have a public visitation in the Maple Room at The Standard from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.
