Obituary for Timothy Walker
Timothy J. Walker, age 67, of Anderson, South Carolina, formerly of Greenville, PA, passed away Saturday night, February 6, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born in Kittanning, PA on December 29, 1953 to Charles E. and Lois J. (McGann).
He served in the United States Navy, where he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed spending time at his church, Andersonville Baptist Church, giving back to the Veterans, and spending countless hours socializing with friends and family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a special companion, Linda Harper, a daughter Cristal McGranahan, and her fiance Clint Farmer, of Andover, OH; two sons, Timothy Walker and his wife, Jauna, of Piedmont, South Carolina, and Adam Walker and his wife, Kaitlin, of Greenville, PA; seven grandchildren, Zack Mcgranahan, Raigen McGranahan, Andrew Mcgranahan, Weston Walker, Jayden Walker, Olivia Walker, and Paisley Walker; four sisters; Katheryn Joyce Walker and her fiance Joe Mariotti of Austintown, OH, Patsy Wilkin of Greenville, Susan Walker of Greenville and Shirley Myers and her fiance Paul Snowman of N. Tondawanda, NY, three brothers; John Walker and his wife Mary of Greenville, Tom Walker and his wife Alice of Jamestown, Stephen “Pinky” Walker of Greenville; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, an infant son Joshua, a sister Joan Myers, and a brother Paul Walker.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 2:00pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, SC 29625. Military honors will be rendered by The Campbell Patriots Honor Guard. Burial will follow at a later date at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.
Social distancing is to be observed and face masks are required.
