Obituary for Tim Lollis

Tim Lollis
Timothy Ross Lollis, 48, husband of Lisa Lawrence Lollis, of Belton, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, April 29, 2024.

Born in Anderson, on July 24, 1975, he was the son of Douglas and Argean Lollis.

Tim was a member of Beech Springs Church in Pelzer, where he was active in many facets of church life. He enjoyed the fellowship of the 7 Group, a men’s discipleship group at the church, and he served as an audio/visual technician for worship services.

He was a 1993 graduate of Crescent High School in Iva, S.C., and later earned an associate degree from Tri-County Technical College. For the past nine years, he has been employed by Ryder Logistics. He was an accomplished saxophonist and an amateur artist. He enjoyed sharing his love of music and his artistic talent with his family and friends over the years.

When Tim wasn’t working, or serving the Lord at church, he loved spending time with his wife and their two sons. Countless hours were spent on weekend dates with his bride, often watching the sunset from the porch of their home. He enjoyed going to car shows, hiking to waterfalls, and fishing with his boys. Those memories will never be forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa Lawrence Lollis, his sons, Caleb and Ryan Lollis, and his siblings, Laura Herbster (Tom-Deceased), and Deron Lollis (Kim).

He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, James and Ann Lawrence, his sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Charlie Dickerson, as well as his nieces, Savannah Herbster, Kimbral Lollis, and Allie Dickerson.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Iva City Cemetery in Iva, S.C. Pastor Eric Boggs will officiate, and the family will speak to attendees, at the cemetery, following the service.
