Obituary for Timothy Fant
(Timothy Fant) Timothy Troy Fant, 59 of Townville, SC, passed away at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House after a very long illness due to Parkinson’s complications.
Timothy was a son of Raymond Fant and the late Marian Fant Strandberg.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Lorraine Ayers Fant, his sister, Susan Fant Byrd, and his stepbrother, James (Jimmy) Dyar.
He is survived by his brother Stephen Fant (Pam) of Michigan and his stepsister, Carol Suttles (Johnny) of Townville, SC, brother-in-law, Russell Byrd as well as several nieces and nephews.
Timothy was born in Dearborn, Michigan where he grew up and lived until his illness made him move to be close to his father in South Carolina in 2015.
He worked for the Ford Motor Company for over 25 years.
A funeral service for he and his father Raymond, (who died December 17, 2020), will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00am at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville. Rev. David Blizzard will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary prior to the service from 10:00am until funeral time.
Social distancing is to be observed and face masks are required at all events.
