Tommy McCurry
December 18, 1988 – April 23, 2022
Thomas Leslie “Tommy” McCurry, 33, of Iva, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home.
Born on December 18, 1988, he was a son of Leslie McCurry (Melinda) and Tammy Arnold (Danny).
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joyce Gentry, Alice and Jack McCurry, and his younger brother, Billy Jack McCurry.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Thomas McCurry, brothers; Nathan Burdette & Lukas McCurry, sisters; April Beard, Ashley Nicholson & Holly Eady as well as his girlfriend, Stephanie Hunt, and his beloved best friend, Dixie.
Tommy will be most remembered for his unique ability to fix anything. He loved to find lawnmowers or anything that wasn’t working so that he could work his magic and have it up and running in no time.
If you were ever lucky enough to know Tommy, you knew he loved his friends and family (especially his son) with everything he had. He was always the one who tried to make your day better with his bright smile and the ability to make you laugh with his great sense of humor.
His beautiful soul and the light he brought to us all will be forever missed.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
A private burial will take place at Iva City Cemetery on a later date.
