Obituary for Terry Ann Hayes
Terry Ann Hayes, 73, of Anderson, died Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Anderson, on August 26, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Cullen Richard Hayes and the late Mary Frances Phillips Hayes.
Terry Ann received her B.S.N. degree from Kentucky University and her Master of Nursing from Clemson University. She was a nurse in the Anderson area for many years, particularly with the Department of Health in Anderson County. She was supporter and volunteer with the Cancer Association of Anderson. Every year, she enjoyed playing “Mrs. Clause” at the Lights of Hope Christmas display. She loved collecting Cabbage Patch Kids and was a huge Clemson Tigers fan!
She is survived by her nephew, Ricky Hayes and her close friends, Barbara Vickery, and Iris Campbell as wel as several cousins.
She was a member of North Anderson Community Church, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 3:00pm. The church is located at 4200 Liberty Hwy, Anderson, S.C. 29621.
