Stuart Francis Scott
February 10, 1951 – March 7, 2021
Stuart Francis Scott, 70, of Anderson, SC passed away at his home on March 7, 2021.
Stuart was a son of the late Stuart R. Scott and Madeline M. Gregg.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond Scott and Wayne Scott.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Wilma Jones, his daughter Rachel Wilmoth, his son Christopher Scott, his sister Carol Bowser (Tom), his brothers, Mike Scott, Gary Scott (Shelia) & Steve Scott, his 3 grandchildren, William "Jr," Laken & Noah, along with many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
Stuart served in the Air Force & then began his career at Johnson and Johnson before going to Technicare which was later bought out by GE where he worked over 35 years. GE brought him & his family to Anderson, SC in 1999. He later retired from GE and worked for Novant Health before he began his battle & beating cancer in 2014.
Stuart loved spending time with his family & friends. He loved watching football, especially his Clemson Tigers. He enjoyed shooting pool or a trip to the casino. Stuart was a loving father, brother, uncle and husband. Stuart always had a big heart and never met a stranger. He was loved by everyone and will be missed greatly!

The family will receive friends and family beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. A memorial service will follow in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center beginning at 4:00 p.m.
