Obituary for Steve Gross
(Steve Gross) Steven Robert Gross, 69, husband of Anita Fleming Gross, of Anderson, S.C., died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, S.C.
Born in Olean, NY, on October 29, 1952, he was a son of the late Robert Eugene Gross and the late Juanita Fern Emerson Gross.
Steve attended West Point Academy and graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He retired after a 40-year career with Mölnlycke Health Care. He attended Hartwell First United Methodist Church in Hartwell, GA.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Fleming Gross, daughter, Julie Dicken (Damon), son, Chris Gross, Brothers, David (Hye Suk), Bruce (Lois), Bob (Lori), Bill, and Ron (Kristal), and his special niece and nephew, Allena and Evan Gross.
He is also survived by his mom-in-law, Sylvene Fleming, sister-in-law, Lynn James (Jerry), brother-in-law, Terry Fleming (Dianne), and Sister-in-law, Susan Tippins (Bascom).
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Tim Gross, his sister-in-law, Cari Gross, and his father-in-law, Hugh Fleming.
The family will receive friends from 3:00pm – 5:00pm, on Friday, June 24, 2022, in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625.
