Steven C. "Steve" Cleveland, 70, husband of Lindalee Cleveland died Friday January 29, 2021 at AnMed Hospital in Anderson SC after a brief, non-covid illness.
Born in Anderson, SC on August 15, 1950, he was the son of Palmer C. Cleveland of Anderson and the late Lena Welborn Cleveland.
He was an Eagle Scout, a Vietnam Era US Air Force Veteran, and a graduate of Clemson University. He retired from BMW in 2016. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, genealogy and gold panning.
He is survived by his wife, Lindalee Campbell Cleveland and his children Matthew Alexander Cleveland, Paul Richard Cleveland both of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, Tyler Palmer Cleveland (Anita) of New York City, NY, Ashlee Rebekah Cleveland of Greenville, SC and Kristopher "Kit" Campbell Cleveland of Clemson, SC.
He is also survived by his brothers, Terry Lee Cleveland (Judy) and Ronald "Ronnie" Earle Cleveland both of Anderson, SC. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:00am in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Jennifer Rygg will officiate. The family will speak to attendees following the service.
A private family committal service, with military honors by the U.S. Air Force, will be held at a later date at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Social distancing is to be observed and face masks are required at all events.
