Stephen Matthew Jones, 28, of Pendleton, SC, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Born on October 15, 1994, he was the son of Stephen V. Jones (Beverly) and Amanda L. Padgett.
Matthew was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ildiko K. Jones of LaFrance & Donna Richardson of Central; his great-grandmother, Margaret Barany of Orange City, Florida, and his uncle, Kirk A. Jones of Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Nicole Jones, Samantha Austin (Josh), Erica McCurry (JD) & Destinee Martin (Marquez); his grandfathers, Stephen H. Jones & Jamie Padgett and his nine nieces & five nephews.
The family will host a memorial service at 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023, in the sanctuary of New Life Christian Center, 603 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Pastor Kiki & Nesi Tant will officiate.
The family will speak with guests following the service.
