Obituary for Stephen Gurley Jr.
Stephen Scott Gurley, Jr, 33, of Anderson, SC, passed away at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC, on April 14, 2022, due to a car accident.
Stephen was a son of Betty Gurley and Stephen Gurley, Sr.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Jack and Willie Gurley (Steve) and Doris and Johnny Ellison (Betty) as well as one sister, Melissa Gurley.
He is survived by his five sons, Jaylon Gurley (Vanessa), Treyshun Gurley (Vanessa), Briley Gurley (Katlin) Noah Gurley (Katlin), Jaxson Gurley (Kimber), his wife, Vanessa Gurley, his sisters, Amanda Gurley, Faith Gurley, his brother, Daniel Gurley, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friends, Anthony Johnson and Jmario Swinger.
Stephen enjoyed being outside with his boys, going fishing, and playing video games. He also loved being around his family and friends. Anyone that knew Stephen knows that he loved to make you laugh and he was always a joker who believed in God.
One thing that can be said about Stephen is that he loved his boys no matter what!!
The family will hold a life celebration on April 16, 2022, at Friendship Holiness Church.
