Obituary for Ruth Page

(Ruth Page) Belton, S.C. Ruth Annette Page, 87, wife of the late James Robert “Bob” Page, of Honea Path, S.C., died Friday, April 28, 2023, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, on August 26, 1935, she was a daughter of the late James E. Nichols and the late Minnie Chandler Nichols.

Ruth was retired from textiles and was a member of the Belton Church of God of Prophecy. She was active in many areas of church life and served as the Director of Music for many years. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and her church family.

She is survived by her children; Donnie Page, John Page (Jan), Mike Page (Samantha), and Annette Smith (Mitch), grandchildren; Jamie Page, Gunnar Page, Brandon Page, Angel Drawdy (Tim), Jennifer Ford (Bo), Hannah Page, Harley Page, Austin Cooley, Magan Horton (Matt), along with 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is also survived by her brother, Billy Nichols.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Roger Welborn and eight siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, on Monday, May 1, 2023, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625. Rev. Phillip Blankenship will officiate.

The family will receive friends, at The Standard, prior to the service, from 10:00am – 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E. Calhoun St., Anderson, S.C. 29621.
