Russell “Rusty” Allen Cantrell, 55, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
He was born on October 1, 1966, in Anderson, SC. He enjoyed attending NASCAR races, collecting trains, and watching the Atlanta Braves. He was a loving dad and papa who liked to have fun and make people laugh. He especially loved spending time with his grandson.
In addition to his parents, Forrest “Skip” and Patricia “Winkey” Cantrell, he is survived by his brother, Richard “Rick” Cantrell: sister, Dena Douglas, daughter: Stephanie O’Day (Shaun), and grandson Declan James O’Day.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 2:00pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. CW Hicks will officiate.
Visitation will be held prior to the service in The Maple Room of The Standard from 1:00pm - 2:00 pm.
