Rose McAllister
June 1, 1943 – December 8, 2020

Rose Marie McAllister, 77, of Anderson, SC died on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at AnMed Health after a long illness.

Rose was a daughter of the late Fred G. Barr and the late Patricia A. Reichenbaugh Barr, both of Ohio.

She is survived by her daughters, Myra McAllister (Lisa Reed) of Alabama and Linda McAllister, her granddaughter, Abby McAllister, her brother, Fred Barr, Jr. (Sheryl), and her sisters, Carol Collard (Dale) and Cathy Firebaugh (John), all of Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as her very special friends, Janet Miller and the Armaly family.

Rose was born in Maysville, Ohio and lived there most of her childhood years before moving to Alabama where she resided for several decades. She returned to Ohio to care for her ailing parents and then moved to Anderson, SC.

She loved to read as well as being outside and gardening.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
