Ronald Earle “Ronnie” Cleveland of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, SC on December 26, 1951 he was the son of the late Palmer C. Cleveland and Lena Welborn Cleveland.
He graduated from McDuffie High School and served in the US Air Force. Ronnie worked in construction and at several upstate apartment complexes in the maintenance department. He could fix or build nearly anything. He was a carefree fun-loving person with a heart of gold who was always willing to help anyone.
He loved to cook, sing, shoot pool, play guitar but most of all make people laugh.
He is survived by his son, Chase P. Cleveland of Anderson and his mother, Melanie, and daughters Elizabeth A. Cleveland of Ashton, Pa and Casey M. Cleveland of West Grove, Pa and their mother, Cindy.
He is also survived by his brother, Terry Lee Cleveland (Judy) and sister-in-law, Lindalee Cleveland both of Anderson, SC as well as many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Ronnie.
He leaves behind grandchildren, Vincent Joseph Pio, Jr., Lena Marie Laube, Lilian Elizabeth Laube & ittle Myles Allen Cleveland, who will make his appearance very soon.
In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his beloved brother, Steve C. Cleveland.
A private family committal service, with military honors by the US Air Force, will be held at a later date at MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
