Robert Hughes, 85, of Anderson, SC, passed away on May 21, 2022.
Robert was the youngest son of the late James and Alma Hughes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Hughes, his grandson, Eric Hughes, and a host of siblings.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Spehar (Michael), his grandchildren: Ryan Hughes (Maddie), Kailee Hughes, Kelsie Cantrell (Alan) and Marcy Elliott (JD), great-grandchildren: Landon & Charlie Hughes, Cambria & Juniper Cantrell and Rowen & Harvin Elliott. He is also survived by his former wife and best friend, Louise Hughes, two siblings, Richard Hughes & Margret Brogan and a host of nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed his family, telling corny jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed music and participating in activities at Tella Bella Marchbanks, where he resided.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
