Obituary for Rita Richardson
Rita K. Heaton Richardson, 62, resident of Pendleton, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023.
Born in Oconee County, Rita was the daughter of the late Edward Collins and Francis Louise Hall.
Rita was a loving and compassionate person. She always cared about the well being of others above her own self and inspired many family and friends to do the same. Her children and grandchildren were her heart and soul, and she will be dearly missed by them all.
Survivors include her children, Kristie Liveright (Chris) of Pendleton, Lee Heaton (Brenda) of Lafrance, and Misty Price (Andy). Rita was also survive by her grandchildren, Brittani Liveright, Chance Liveright (Taylor), Kristie Garrett (Tyler), Eddie Liveright, Corey Price, Paige Heaton, Kaylee Rock, Eddie Heaton, Lee-Lee Heaton, Thomas Heaton, Karlee Heaton, great grandchildren, Karsyn Liveright, and her last surviving siblings, Wayne Collins and Jerome Barnes (Cindy).
Rita was predeceased by her husbands, Audie Dean Richardson and Eddie Leroy Heaton, a granddaughter, Chelsey Lynn Liveright, and numerous brothers.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023, inside the Tribute Room at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center with Mike Wilbanks officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00PM until 3:00PM in the Maple Room at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center.
Burial will follow at a later date at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Fair Play, SC.
