Richard Kellam Vickery
March 13, 1964- November 18, 2022
Richard Vickery, 58, of Anderson, died Thursday, November 18, 2022, at his home.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Judge Vandiver Vickery, and the late Lilly Francis Kellam Vickery.
Richard was a master welder and was able to see a lot of the country traveling for work. He loved life, his family, and the season of fall. Richard was a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church his entire life. Richard also loved his two special companions, his cats, “Bear”, and “Pete”.
Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Vickery, his sons, Justin Kellam Vickery (Charlton) Nohilly, and his wife Michelle Nohilly, of McCormick, SC, Patrick Clayton Mancil, of Phoenix City, AL, and his sister, Julie Victoria Nour, and her husband, Ahmed, of Anderson.
Richard survived by his grandchildren, JayLynn and Josephine Slye, his niece and nephew, Misty Richardson, and Jeffery Denis Biggs. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Kadence Victoria Richardson, Preston Brian Richardson, Dameon Biggs, Logan Biggs, and Baby J (Jayce) Richardson and Terry Michael Vickery, Jr. of Laurens, Iowa. He was also survived by a special friend of the family, Misty Mason (Keith), Hope and Kyle.
Along with his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brothers, Terry Michael Vickery, Sr. and Thomas Vandeveer Vickery.
The Family will hold a memorial service on a later date.
