Richard Allen McCauley, Sr.
January 14, 1959 - January 27, 2021
Richard A. McCauley Sr., 62, of Townville, SC, formerly of Lapeer, MI, left to be with the Lord suddenly on January 27, 2021.
Richard was the son of the late Phillip McCauley and the late Martha Van Wagner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Baldy Van Wagner, brother, Phillip, Jr., sister, Shelly McCauley and father-in-law, Ronald Chapman.
Richard is survived by his wife, Angela, sons, Riley McCauley, Richard McCauley (Wendy), daughters, Rebecca Darnell (Eric), Elizabeth McCauley and Charlene McCauley, stepchildren, Eric Putkela (Christina) and Elizabeth Shook (Garry), sister, Rose Ann Nutt as well as his mother-in-law, Donna Chapman. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and several family members and friends.
Richard enjoyed his days at car shows with his good friend, Ron. He loved working on cars and was passionate about classic cars. He also loved going to the drag strip. When not working on cars, Richard loved being with his family.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
