Richard George Krebs, 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, to go to his Spiritual Home.
Born on May 21, 1939, he was a son of the late Raymond Arthur Krebs and the late Mildred Meyers Krebs from Jersey City, NJ.
Richard is survived by his wife of 40 years, Khatia Krebs, his sons and their families, grandchildren, brother, and nieces & nephews across the United States.
To honor this community elder and the legacy he leaves us all, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
Rev. Karla Krebs will officiate Richard's memorial service and the family will speak to guests following the service. Thereafter, a celebration of Richard's joy for food and laughter will be held at the Krebs home in Anderson, SC.
In his honor, the family requests that attendees dress in their favorite shade of blue, as this was Rick's favorite color.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home, 4605 Belton Highway, Anderson, SC 29621.
