Obituary for Ray Partain
Ray Emerson Partain, 69, of Anderson, SC, passed away on April 28, 2022.
Ray was a son of the late Charles Hubert Partain and the late Kathleen Burnette Partain.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Newton Partain, daughter, Kitty Raye Partain, son, Joey Lee Partain, stepdaughters, Genny Parker, Lori Simpson (Randy), Marti Jones (James Littleton), brother, Franklin Partain (Melissa), sister, Shirley Smith (Tim), twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Ray was a life-long resident of Anderson and served thirty plus years in various types of law enforcement. He retired from the city as a lieutenant.
He enjoyed relaxing on the deck with his best friend, Red, his dog. He was an avid fan of WWE Wrestling and a loyal and frequent patron of Zaxby’s.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Curt Eidson will officiate.
