Randy Strickland
August 21, 1950 - June 7, 2022
Randall McLeod Strickland, 71, husband of Barbara R. Strickland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
Randy was born on August 21, 1950, to the late Prentiss McLeod Strickland and the late Julia Owensby Strickland.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Angela Marie Strickland and Sarah Denise Strickland Lee (Jon), his sister, Sandra Strickland Jones, four granddaughters; Halie Lee, Hannah Lee, Hayden Lee and Leila Lee who will be born in July of this year, a great-granddaughter, Rosalyn Franklin as well as many nieces and nephews.
Randy was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church in Anderson but declared that he was Baptist first. He was employed as a stocker for Wal-Mart on third shift before becoming disabled.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 3:00pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2:00pm in The Maple Room of The Standard.
