JoAnn has been someone who has held a special place in my life since my childhood. We had reconnected over the last several years and our sweet chats were always a treasure. She was a wonderful woman who I loved. She will be truly missed. Love you Kris

Dear Family,

When we first joined Oakwood Baptist Church many years ago, JoAnn welcomed us and made us feel right a home. We were so sorry to hear about her passing, but we know she is now "Home" which she sang about so beautifully. We know you all will miss her and are praying that the LORD will give you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

So many wonderful memories Winslow and I have and the last solo I remember her singing was "God wants to hear us Sing" goes through my mind often. The wonderful dinner she prepared for us a couple of years back and the garden veggies we shared. She had a special way of sharing her Christian testimony. Always so lovely in appearance and attitude even after she became so ill. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her especially at Temple Baptist Church. Martha Brown McKee

I have known Jo Ann for years growing up with her in LaFrance. She was a very sweet person. I have not seen in a long time and ran into her at a doctor's office one day and had a good visit. My prayers are with the family
