Obituary for Phillip Maxwell
Phillip Dunn Maxwell, 62, resident of Townville, husband of Lisa Lorance Maxell, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, Phillip was the son of the late Lucian “Luke” Maxwell and Dorothy Dunn Maxwell.
Upon earning his degree in engineering, Phillip spent his career with Springs Industries and Electrolux Major Appliance.
Phillip was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to his wife of the home, Phillip was survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Maxwell Kennedy (Micah) and Kendall Maxwell Cleary (Stephen), both of Anderson. Phillip was also survived by his grandchildren, Rhett Kennedy, Claire Kennedy, Coleman Cleary, and his siblings, Dale Brown (Major) and Karen Skelton.
Along with his parents, Phillip was predeceased by a brother, Julian Maxwell (Elaine), and his sister, Kathy Maxwell Bethke.
The family will be having a visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center.
In lieu of flowers, it was Phillip’s wish to have donations be sent to the favorite church or charity of one’s choice.
