Obituary for Phillip Fowler

Phillip M. Fowler, 67, born 4 February 1955, passed from this world to go home to his Heavenly Father on July 26, 2022.

Phil was born in Greenville, SC, to Doc and Emma Lee Fowler and they preceded his death. Phillip was also preceded by his nephew, Chad Fowler.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Debra Lynn Fowler and daughter Kelly Dawn Fowler of Townville, SC. He is also survived by brothers Terry and Brenda Fowler, Brent and Kent Fowler and Steve and Tammy Fowler, Jeremy and Keelan Fowler.

Phillip had a group of adopted kids (Adults today) that he mentored most of their lives. Salene and RJ Wade, their daughter “Vivi” along with Matt Pace and Jonathan Hughes. Phillip had 2 loving animals, his Cat/Dog “Lil Buddy” and Grand Dog “Kastiel”.

He was a son, father, brother, husband and friend to many. He was a Christian man and served wherever needed and called.

Except for a few years after high school, Phil spent 45 years in the Machine Shop Business. He was an old car enthusiast that started with his 1974 Orange Dodge Duster. This old orange Duster is what Phillip and Debra went on their honeymoon in. He loved old tractors and fishing. He was a Captain on the fishing boat for many of his friends, he always knew where to find the fish. Some of Phil’s most favorite things was grilling on the patio with friends and family, swinging in the swing and being with his daughter.

A memorial service to honor the life of Phillip M. Fowler will be held at Windy Hill Wedding Barn https://www.windyhillevents.com/ (2733 East Georgia Rd, Simpsonville SC 29681), 20 Aug 2022, Lunch from 12:30 to 1:30, service at 1:30.
