Phillip Walter Campbell
May 30, 1952 – December 4, 2022
Phillip Walter Campbell, 70, of Westminster, SC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Easley Baptist Hospital.
Born on May 30, 1952, he was the son of the late J. Walter Campbell and the late Christine Bryson Campbell.
An Oakway High School graduate, Phil furthered his education and received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Wesleyan University.
He was a member of the South Union Baptist Church, a volunteer fireman for South Union Fire Department and a member of the Fair Play Masonic Lodge.
Those that knew him well, knew that he loved his family, Clemson football and Nascar racing.
He is survived by his children, Stephanie Campbell, Christi Leard (Matt) & John Campbell, grandchildren, Taylor Campbell & Rob Leard, sister, Joan Short (Tim), nephews, Chris Davis (Julie) & Justin Davis and his great niece, Reagan Davis and great-nephew, Austin Davis.
Visitation will be held at South Union Baptist Church on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10:00 am followed by a Memorial service at 11:00 am. South Union Baptist Church, 481 South Union Rd, Westminster SC 29693. Rev. Charlie Orr & Rev. Tim Sheriff will officiate.
