Peggy Jean Bennett King, 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Born October 17, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Hershell Bennett and the late Willie Roberts Bennett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amiel King, and her brother, Dana Bennett.
She is survived by her son, Mark King, grandchildren, Dalton Surls, Gage, Ashton, Kayleigh & Addie Toole, son, Shawn King (Tammy), grandson, Nicholas King, great-granddaughters, Avery & Addison, and her sister, Brenda Addison.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00am in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Mike McMinn will officiate. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held in The Maple Room of The Standard, prior to the service, from 10:00am-11:00am.
