Obituary for Peggy Hendricks
Peggy Rebecca( Becky) Brock Hendricks passed into her Savior’s arms on Mar 12. 2021.Praised be to the Lord He has finally granted her peace, no pain, and walking again, with Him.
Since 2015 Becky was unable to walk and had other medical issues. Through all of her illnesses, she loved and praised her Savoir as she grew closer to Him.
Becky was born Nov 14, 1936 to William(Bill) and Ruby Brock and spent her young years in the Barker’s Creek Community. Later she lived in the Docheno community and graduated from Honea Path School in 1953. Following High School, she attended and graduated from the Anderson Hospital School of Nursing and obtained her Nursing Degree and License.
In 1956, she married her beloved soul mate Ronald C Hendricks and they lived happily in love for 65 years.
Becky was an outstanding, nurturing, loving Mother to their two children, Pamela H English( Mickey), of Charlotte NC, and Ronald C Hendricks Jr (Kelley) of Greenville, SC that she took so much pride in raising.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 14, at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Mitchell Brooks officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 at the church on Sunday and will also be receiving anytime at their home their home at 159 Bradley Park.
A burial will be held at The Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date. Flowers are accepted and memorials should go the Second Baptist church Building Fund.
