Patrick R. Allen
March 12, 1951 – May 2, 2023
Patrick Robert Allen, age 72, of Greenwood, SC, lived a full life up until the Lord took him home to heaven on the morning of May 2, 2023.
He entered this life March 12, 1951, in Newcastle, Wyoming, the son of the late Virginia B. and and the late Robert L Allen.
Patrick attended Black Hills State College in Spearfish, South Dakota, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History & Political Science.
On July 17, 1976, Jody Lee Meyer became his wife and they were later blessed with two children.
He is survived by his wife Jody Lee Allen, his daughter, Crystal Gayle Boyd, his son, Carmine Robert Allen, four nieces, Lydia Grabowski, Lois Starr, Kellee Lundquist & Cindy Epperson and his seven wonderful grandchildren (listed by age) Coleton, Audrey, Gianna, Aria, Mylo, Schylar & Everette.
He loved to learn new things and loved wildlife and to be in the outdoors, He loved his family and friends and loved visiting with everyone God put in his path. Most importantly, Patrick was a man of integrity and a man of prayer.
Patrick was enjoyed by everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. He was always attentive to lend a helping hand, a fun and a caring guy, a wonderful husband and a loving Dad. We will miss him very much.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
