Obituary for Norma Sanders
(Norma Sanders) Norma Jane Evatt Sanders, 79, wife of the late Donald N. Sanders, of the Lebanon Community of Anderson County, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her home.
Born in Pendleton, S.C., on January 14, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Gaines Evatt and the late Gladys Taylor Evatt.
Norma was a graduate of Pendleton High School and Carolina School of Commerce. She worked for a period of time with First National Bank of Anderson before retiring from Clemson University after 30 years service in the accounting department. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Angie E. Hammett (Robert), her nieces and nephews, Ashley Hammett, Andrew Hammett, Nevitte White (Shelly), Amanda Louise White, and Tonya Danette Sanders, her brother-in-law, Donnie White and her sister-in-law, Mary Louise White.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, 5150 Gentry Rd. Anderson, S.C. 29621.
The family will speak to attendees following the graveside service.
