My fondest memories of Nancy are of when she was my Sunday School teacher at Forest Hill Baptist Church when I was in middle school. She was ever faithful in encouraging us teenage girls through those hard years at Southwood Middle. She always was available to listen when we needed to talk! She is healed and in glory singing in the heavenly choir!

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Mrs. Hawkins for many years at Southwood. I could never call her Nancy, I called her Mrs. Hawkins. She said, "Gloria why you don't call me Nancy." I could not bring myself to say Nancy, It was a respect thing. Gloria Brown Speed.
