Obituary for Murna Nash

Murna Nash, 78, of Anderson, wife of the late Earl Jamison Nash, died Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Dover, OH, on April 4, 1944, she was a daughter of the late William Martin Menges, and the late Viola Mutschelknaus Menges.

In 2006, after 20 years’ service, she retired from AnMed Health Medical Center as an Admitting Administrator. She was a born again Christian and member of Pope Drive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Tim Marburger-Chief Petty Officer, U.S.N. (Ret.), and his wife, Katia, along with, Ted Marburger, and Trevor Nash, grandchildren; Martina Marburger, Philip and Jered Marburger, Michael Holden, and Dylan Nash, and great-grandchildren; Grayson and Gabriel Marburger.

She is also survived by her sister, Marilyn Lieber and her husband, Bill.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Julia Hinerman.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm – 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625.
