Obituary for Mike Hill
(Mike Hill) Michael Clarence Hill, 68, husband of Leann Chasteen Hill, of Iva, died Monday, May 30, 2022, at his home.
Born in Anderson, on November 5, 1953, he was a son of the late Clarence Hill, and the late Eva Lou Risner Hill.
Mike was a retired cabinet maker, and a very active member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple in Starr. Mike was the producer of the “Voice of Calvary” television ministry of Gethsemane Baptist Temple. He was an audio/visual technician and produced many special video productions for the church.
He is survived by his wife, Leann Chasteen Hill, daughter, Kristin Augspurger (Aaron), and their daughter, Ava, and his son, Michael Hill (Kayla).
He is also survived by his brother, Terry Hill (Sharon), and his sisters, Barbara Mattison (Jimmy), and Sue Bolding.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Doyle, Kenny and Jerry Hill, and his grandson, Carter Lee Augspurger.
The family will hold a private funeral service.
