July 24, 1963 – March 30, 2023
Melissa Sanderson Vickery, 59, wife of Timothy Vickery, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at her home.
Born July 24, 1963, she was the only child of the late James Sanderson and the late Barbara Wilson Sanderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Debbie West.
Along with her husband of 40 years, Lisa is survived by her three sons, Travis (Samantha), Tyler & Jaxson Vickery, two granddaughters, Autumn & Abigail Vickery and sister-in-law, Betty Lou Lundkovsky.
Lisa retired from Anderson County School District Five after more than 20 years as the Cafeteria Manager working within all the schools throughout the district.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. David Walters will officiate.
Visitation will be held prior to the service in The Maple Room of The Standard beginning at 12:00 pm.
