Obituary for Judy Phillips
Judy Phillips, age 79, wife of Gene Phillips, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Leck Grant, her son, Jeff Ivester (Staci), of Mooresville, NC, sisters Mary Schreck (Tom), Tez Graham, of Conyers, GA, Brothers, Max Grant, of Seneca, SC, and Ernest “Sonny” Grant, of Columbia, SC.
She is survived by her husband Gene Phillips, and her son Greg Ivester. Other survivors include one sister, Margaret Motter, of Marrietta, GA, and two brothers, Herman Grant (Elke), of Mauldin, SC, and Romaine Grant (Pat) of Winder, GA. Judy is also survived by three grandchildren; Laekyn Self (Jesse), of Carrollton, GA, Lauren Ivester, of Liberty, SC, and Grayson Ivester, of Mooresville, NC, along with two Great-grandchildren, Liam Self, and Knox Ivester.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 11, 2022, at 1:00pm at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC, 29625.
The family will receive friends following the service.
