Obituary for Martha Duncan
Martha Ellen Duncan, 80, resident of Anderson, wife of Dennis Duncan, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, Martha was the daughter of the late Judson Johnson and Nell Doyle Johnson. Martha was an accountant for many years with Grant Tax service and was currently attending Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
Along with her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Johnson.
In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her sons, Don Duncan and Ricky Duncan both of Anderson. She was also survived by her brother, Kenneth Johnson of Anderson, her 3 grandchildren, Judson Duncan, Dylan Duncan, Adam Swaney, and her 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, inside the Tribute Room at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center with Rev. Mark Duncan and Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at M. J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
The family will be receiving friends after the service on Tuesday.
