Mark Anthony Wood, Jr., 34, of Anderson, SC passed away at his home on March 18, 2021.
Anthony was a son of the late Mark Anthony Wood SR and Tina Marie Williams Hughes and stepfather Robert Hughes.
In addition to his father, and his late grandfather Rudy Wood, and grandmother Dorothy Wood, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Tony Williams and Barbara Williams.
He is survived by his sister, Angel Witcher (Gary), his niece Audrianna Witcher, and his nephew Hayden Witcher. He is also survived by his best friends Derrick Chasteen and Jairo Aguayo.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Anthony was and is very loved by his family and friends. Anthony loved his mother very much. Anthony was a big music lover, and he was very good at writing poems.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Pastor Aaron Gibson will officiate.
The family will host a short memorial gathering at sister, Angel Witcher’s, home, 1011 Blumefield Road, Anderson, SC, 29625.
