Mabel Ann Dye
August 30, 1939 – December 17, 2022
Mabel Ann Herring Dye, 83, of Anderson, SC, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on August 30, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Herring and the late Frances Murphy Herring.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Dye and son, James Dye, Jr.
Mabel had a very artistic nature and loved to paint, draw and simply do anything creative. She also loved to play cards with her friends. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Hudgens, granddaughter, Angel Bryant, great- grandchildren, Kasey Cook, Dakota Bryant, & Shyenne Bryant, and great-great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Cook, Easton Cook & Paislyn Brown.
She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Herring and three nieces.
The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at South Main Street Chapel, 2408 S. Main Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
