Lucas David “Lukie Duke” Love, 3, of Anderson, SC, passed away on May 7, 2022.
Born on January 5, 2019, Lukie Duke was the only son of Christina Dawn Love and Norman David Love, Jr.
In addition to his devoted parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Melanie Blanton (Tommy), Dollie Sammons (Ricky) and great-grandparents, Gail Anderson, Peggy Taylor (David), and Diane Love. He is also survived by his aunts; Missy Kimmel (Mark), Brandie Smith (Dwight), and Chely Murray (Joey), uncles; Jimmy R. Love (Crystal), Timothy Love (Erica), Ryan Love (Brooke), Hunter Love as well as numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Randell Anderson, Norman R. Love and William & Lizzie Bell Glenn.
Outside is where you would most often find Lukie Duke. That is where the BIG TRACTORS are and one of his most favorite things in the world. With his Blue Bear in tow, he loved being outside learning about different tractors with his daddy and at only 3 years old, he surprised everyone he met by telling them their names.
French fries, apples, chocolate milk and popsicles were also among his favorites, but those who loved him, his parents, grandparents and other family and friends were his most favorite. He will be forever missed by all those who love him.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Bob Keely will officiate.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm in The Maple Room of The Standard.
