Obituary for Kevin Buchanan
(Kevin Buchanan) James Kevin Buchanan, 48, son of James and Carolyn Buchanan, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Altus, Oklahoma.
Kevin was born in Anderson, S.C. on June 20, 1972 and was a graduate of Crescent High School in Iva. In 2007, Kevin relocated to Altus, Oklahoma where he was a self-employed electrician. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple in Iva.
He is survived by his father, James Buchanan and his mother, Carolyn, son, Kamron Buchanan, sister, Denise Posey (Mike), niece, Jessica Brown and step-niece, Brandy Posey Haynes.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 1:30pm – 3:00pm at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center. A funeral service will follow in The Tribute Room at 3:00pm with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will be at Iva City Cemetery.
