Kathy Kay Kelly, 59, passed away on April 14, 2022, after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Born on July 3, 1962, in Dunlap, TN, Kathy was a daughter of the late Rixey Kelly and the late Mildred Kelly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dana Kelly, and niece, Robin Lynn Lane.
Kathy graduated from Knoxville Adaptive School in Tennessee and worked for the Coca-Cola Company. She participated in the Special Olympics and took home several medals in running and softball. She loved her family, friends and Elvis.
Her favorite phrases were "All Together" and "My Friend". Kathy touched many people and she was a special ray of sunshine in each of our lives.
She is survived by her sister, Linda McCullough (Wayne), "Special Family", Megan, Daryl, Scarlett and Eric Ruhland, two special nephews and a niece, with many cousins in Tennessee that loved her. She also had special nieces and nephews in South Carolina.
Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church of Iva, 9536 SC-81, Iva, SC 29655. Rev. Jerry Gray will officiate. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00am at the church.
