Obituary for Kameron Smith

(Kameron Smith) Kameron Lee Smith, 24, of Williamston, died December 30, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Anderson on May 27, 1996, he is the son of Angie Oliver and Billy Lee Smith.

Upon meeting Kameron, you were a stranger only once. Beyond that you were family. Family to Kameron wasn’t only being related by blood, but also being related by love.

Kameron’s heart was just as big as his strong bear hugs and his beautiful smile. Whether he was speaking an encouraging word or inspiring others to live their life to the fullest, Kameron was always striving to make the lives of those around him brighter and better.

Living his life boldly, wildly, and beautifully was made evident by the people and places Kameron was blessed to encounter. His gentle heart, compassionate spirit, and forgiving nature was a wonderful example of how we should always treat others. We are all here for a purpose, and Kameron’s purpose was to create a ripple effect of love and positivity for everyone.

In true Kameron form, he would want us to be the things that we admired most about him.

Be kindness. Be forgiving. Be hopeful. Be optimistic. Be love.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Karlye Oliver, Veda Verner, Lexi Smith and Julian Smith. He is also survived by his stepmother, Stephanie Smith, grandparents, Michael Oliver and Gail Smith, his step-grandparents, Gary and Ginger Sullivan, his uncle and aunt Tracy and Carrie Smith and his niece, Peyton Oliver and cousin, Brody Smith.

A funeral to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, SC 29625. Rev.
