Judy Loftis Mitchell, age 68, of Belton, SC, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her home.
Born in Belton, Judy was a daughter of the late George Aubrey Loftis, and the late Mary Ann Loftis.
Judy retired from Hexcel Schwebel after working in textiles for many years. She loved to cook and work in her puzzle book. Above all, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family.
Judy is survived by her husband of 21 years, Charles “Bob” Mitchell, her son, Matthew L. Loftis (Shanna S. Loftis), and her brother Archie L. Loftis (Rachel L. Loftis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Ann Erwin & Patsy Elaine Kelly, and her special granddaughter, Brianna Mitchell.
A graveside funeral will be held at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at New Silver Brook Cemetery, 440 East Shockley Ferry Road, Anderson, SC, 29624. Pastor John Boggs will officiate.
