Words from Joel's wife Debra Phillips:

What do you say about the love of your life when you lose them.... you say, I love you, miss you, need you‚ but I know you are where you want to be. In the arms of peace and love, a love like no other. As much as I will miss you, I know the pain and struggle is gone. I want to thank you for all you have done for me. Always taking care of me when I was sick, your luminating smile, and your funny personality. When I lost my Harley I was hurting and you ran out and got me another fur baby and put your arms around me.

We hung on to 25 years together with ups and downs, happiness and sorrow. I know you were my soul mate and I know we were always meant to be, so, I say I love you boo and I'll see you on the other side when my work is through.
