Obituary for Jimmy McAbee
(Jimmy McAbee) Jimmy Ray McAbee, 72, of Anderson, died, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Anderson, on February 14, 1949, he was one of 13 children of the late B.W. McAbee and the late Mary Elizabeth Suttles McAbee.
Jimmy retired from Winn-Dixie as a packer and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his siblings, Michael McAbee (Janie), Gary McAbee, Judy Aiken, Jonnie McAbee, Richard McAbee, Waymon McAbee, Bonnie Glenn (Paul), and Alvin McAbee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Howard McAbee, Dan McAbee, Wanda McAbee and David McAbee.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 3:00pm at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Townville, S.C. Rev. Tom Perry will officiate.
