Obituary for Jewell Evans
Jewell Cole Evans, 75, resident of Anderson, wife of Bennie Evans, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Born in McMinnville, TN, Jewell was a daughter of the late Samuel G. Cole and Azilee Dempsey Cole. Jewell was a faithful member of High Praise Church of God and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her husband, Jewell was survived by her children, Johnny Vickery of Anderson, Larry Vickery of Anderson, Melody Vickery Fowler (Tony) of Anderson, her stepchildren, Rodney Evans (Cristin) of Anderson, Rickey Evans (Kim) of Anderson, her grandchildren, Courtney Hewell, Ashley Vickery, Anna Vickery, Bryson Fowler, and her 2 great grandchildren. Jewell was also survived by her siblings, Jean Sammons (Raymond) of Anderson, Buddy Cole (Beverly) of Spartanburg, Cheryl Stowe of Anderson, Brenda Cole of Anderson, and Clyde Cole (Kathy) of Greenville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center with Rev. Chris Sustar officiating. A private burial will follow at Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson.
The family will have a visitation for friends and family starting at 12 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.
