Jaxon Burdette
February 16, 2011- February 26, 2023
Jaxon Nicholas Burdette, age 12, of Anderson, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Jaxon was a 6th grade student at Southwood Academy of the Arts and was very artistically skilled. He enjoyed video games, music, Anime, Hot Wheels, animals, and playing with his brothers and sisters. He loved his family, and anything that involved spending time with them. Jaxon loved going on adventures. His latest adventure took him to Walt Disney World, just last week, granted by Make-A-Wish.
Jaxon is survived by his parents, Nick Burdette (Angela), and April Brothers (Heather), his siblings, Ava Alexander, Clayton Alexander, Drake Burdette, Aiden Burdette, and Millie Brothers. He is also survived by his Godparents, Ashely and Jimmy McCabe, his grandparents, Larry and Kathy Chatham, Tammy Burdette, Christine Brothers, Lauren and William Marvin, David Watkins, and Sal Spatafora, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jaxon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lanny Burdette, his great grandparents, Pat Addis, Sally Hunsinger , and Mildred Chatham, along with his aunt and uncle, Kim and Alena.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC, 29625. Pastor Benjamin Smoak will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11am until 2pm in The Maple Room at The Standard.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 2609 US-29, Anderson, SC 29621.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas, 900 S Pine St suite f, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
