James "Jimmy" Goodrich Waters

James “Jimmy” Waters, USMC 1969-1989, VIETNAM VET, 72, of Anderson, SC, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Born on September 24, 1950, he was the son of Eugene W Waters and Priscilla Goodrich Waters.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Eugene W Waters Jr. (Skippy) of Norfolk, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Ann Waters, and his daughters, Katie Waters & Stephanie Burdette (Jonathan), grandchildren, Haley (Jacob) & Dylan (Lexi), great granddaughter, Jasmine “Mars”, and brother, Brian Waters (Tammy Cloud) and family.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on December 30, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church, 3530 Hopewell Road, Anderson, SC 29621. Pastor Dalton Fowler will officiate, with Military service to follow.
The family will speak to guests following the service.
